What American City Are You?

You Are Austin

A little bit country, a little bit rock and roll.
You’re totally weird and very proud of it.
Artistic and freaky, you still seem to fit in… in your own strange way.

Famous Austin residents: Lance Armstrong, Sandra Bullock, Andy Roddick

    You Are Boston

Both modern and old school, you never forget your roots.
Well educated and a little snobby, you demand the best.
And quite frankly, you think you are the best.

Famous people from the Boston area: Conan O’Brien, Ben Affleck, New Kids on the Block

I take exception to the list of “famous people” however…..

Yeah, Ken, that’s a pathetic list of people from Boston!

Sorry, but that’s a lame quiz. I tried answering the questions every different way I could think of, but I never got San Francisco. And when I say my favorite part of the country is the West Coast, why on earth would I end up with cities (Austin and Boston) in the part of the country I really couldn’t care less about?

I certainly tried for New York. But Austin is a very cool city so I decided to pretend content.

  5. Barbs says:

    Ha! I got NYC

Cosmopolitan and sophisticated, you enjoy the newest in food, art, and culture.
You also appreciate a good amount of grit – and very little shocks you.
You’re competitive, driven, and very likely to succeed.

Well…sort of. Tupac was born in NYC and lived there as a kid, but he moved away. He lived in Marin City as a teenager, and that’s where his career began.

I just hate to see a city as overrated and self-important as NYC claim an artist it doesn’t really have a right to.

I swear to God, Tom, if it wasn’t you, I’d assume you were a troll and delete your sorry West Coast ass.

As far as Tupac goes? Sokay, we don’t want him. We’ve done better about 12,000 times.
