2006 Weblog Awards

The 2006 Weblog Awards

You can vote for Property of a Lady under “Best of the Rest” once per day per computer, so those of you with multiple computers, go wild! (Also, check out the other wonderful finalists; the field for “Best Liberal Blog” is exceptionally rich.)

(And yes, I’m editing this so it stays on top. Vote vote vote. I‘m in second place. Borrow friend’s computers and vote from there as well. Tell your friends. Tell your moms.)

You have a couple of votes already from us. We’ll continue to vote daily!

I’ll be voting for ya. 🙂 I’m really enjoying your book at the moment and have found it really helpful in dealing with my very slothful tendencies. 😉

    Thanks, folks!

  5. I voted for ya. 😀

Damn page won’t load on my home computer. But I voted for you here at work…and I’m doing my best to spread the word. 🙂

Screw the Weblog Awards and the horse they rode in on!

I haven’t voted because I’m not allowed to vote. Their target voter is a perfect-bodied user with lax security that uses one of the few platforms that Macromedia Flash works on. So don’t bother trying if your eyesight is bad, your security is good, you don’t have flash or even if your Flash comes from another provider besides Macromedia (who only release players for a handful of computer platforms).

    The *WEB*log awards just aren’t very web-friendly.

See this excerpt from their FAQ for a very silly definition of “Anyone”:

    Q: Who can vote?

A: Anyone. You must have Macromedia Flash version 7 (or greater) installed and Javascript enabled or you will be prompted to get the latest version.

  8. deblipp says:

Yeah, I saw that about the Flash 7 and I figured that would be problematic for some people. It’s a bigass download.

  9. The Best of the Rest…

I’m going to take some time to provide a public service. The 2006 Weblog Awards …

  10. Ken says:

Voting is profile specific on your PC, so if you have multiple profiles (users) on your PC you can vote once a day using each profile…….

    You’re catching up quickly……
