A photo journal of a fabulous meal:
The table is mostly set when we arrive
And the appetizers are in the living room
Beet salad…not my favorite, but very pretty
Stuffing with chestnuts and spinach; brandied sweet potatoes with pecans and brown sugar
L-R, mashed potatoes, beet salad, apple-pear sauce, turkey, mini-onions with pomegranate seeds, grilled asparagus, homemade cranberry sauce
In the background, stacked soup bowls with a bit of remaining squash soup. Foreground: Turkey in front of gravy boat, stuffing, asparagus, mini-onions.
Cipolline onions. Them little ones.
No wonder you haven’t posted. You’ve been digesting.
Ooh! Vocabulary words!
