No drama

As many of you know, I do the Internet dating thing. And often, I’ll see an ad that says “no drama.”

Here’s what I think it means: Don’t have a life, don’t have friends or family, certainly don’t have friends or family with problems that might require your attention or cause you stress or pain. Don’t have stress or pain and if you do, don’t need to talk about it. Don’t change, and if you change, don’t let it be difficult or complicated. Don’t have complications.

Instead, have fun, laugh, have sex, and simulate a relationship on the epidermal layer.

You say that like it’s a bad thing. My man deserves his peace and quiet.

    lol.

Next I take on “no games.”

I always figured “no games” to mean “just sex.”

In the gay online dating world, the big catchphrases are “masculine” and “straight-acting,” both of which translate to, “Being a top gives me the freedom to live in complete denial when it comes to how big of a screaming queen I actually am.”

I have come to slowly realize that those people who indicate no drama somewhere are the biggest friggin’ drama queens around.

I just wonder how many matches there are for a person who indicates “no drama”. Is it even possible to live a life without drama and if so, why wasn’t I told!
