These are three roles played by the same actor. Name the actor.

4. A home health aide, an African political leader, a woman who meets people from the future

5. A security guard with strange abilities, the next-door neighbor of a dentist, a boxer

Is #2 Lauren Bacall (The Big Sleep, some other movie, and some other other movie)?
And #5 is Bruce Willis (Unbreakable, not sure what, and Pulp Fiction). And I think #3 may be Fred McMurray.
Er, Fred MacMurray, I mean.
And is #4 maybe Whoopi Goldberg?
#1 is John Wayne.
#3 is Jack Lemmon.
#4 is Alfre Woodard.
Tom, “some other movie”?
Judges? Can I get a ruling on this?
Well, do I have the actor right?
The second bruce Willis movie is The Whole Nine Yards, I think.
Is #7 Michael ClarkDuncan? Green Mile, some other movie and some other movie? (Hoping the judges rule in Tom’s favor.)
I guess the other two Bacall movies could be Designing Women and Shock Treatment.
Judges? Can I get a ruling on this?
The question says “Name the actor.” It doesn’t say you have to name the movies. But if the answer your expecting isn’t Lauren Bacall (or Michael Clarke Duncan) I’d say it’s fair to ask for the movies. It’s possible that two performers fit the criteria.
JMO 🙂
If we are counting the movies, the ones that go with my answers are:
#1 – The Shootist, The Quiet Man, The Long Voyage Home
#3 – The Apartment, The Fortune Cookie, Mister Roberts
#4 – Passion Fish, Mandela, Star Trek: First Contact
You’re right for films 1 and 2 for Bacall, Tom, but the third is <em.The Cobweb, one of the most over-the-top films of the 50s.
#6 is Tom Wilkinson: Girl with the Pearl Earring, In the Bedroom, and The Full Monty.
Oh, and sorry I didn’t close my html in the last comment.
#7 is MC Duncan. The other movies besides Green Mile are Daredevil and . . . something else. Sin City?
Trevor, you got it.
And I guess Mel is right and is serving as our judging panel. But you get credit.
