Important Notice to my loyal commentators

I think that if you register you will never get held up in moderation. (You would have to login whenever you visit or check the Remember Me box. Which was an epiosde of Star Trek: The Next Generation. But I digress.)

Anyway, please experiment with this. Because I will be away for a week and you wouldn’t want to be hung out to dry that long, now would you?

Reviews up

So, I’ve now got a small page of reviews for The Way of Four Spellbook up.

(And weirdly, as I’m in the middle of typing this, I seem to have been upgraded. So halfway through a post, I’m in a different editor. You try it sometime.)

James Bond Store

The James Bond site has been updated, and the store is now open. Go! Shop!

Phew, I’m back

Site was down yesterday. Hope the three of you didn’t miss me too much. 😉

I’m back

Cranky Cronos fixed whatever was broken yesterday. Unfortunately, I lost what I posted over the weekend, including my weird dream about having sex with Alex Sanders. Maybe I’ll type that one up again.

Site Stuff

I had to add the word “blog” to my moderated word list (along with viagra, cialis, and texas holdem). There’s a new kind of blogger spam, not nearly as entertaining as some, that generates fake bland comments. They generally say things like “Great blog! I agree!” Or “Keep up the good work. Love the blog!” The purpose is to embed their site link (attached to the username) to the comments.

So if you mention your blog, or indeed if you link to blogspot, you’ll be briefly held in moderation. Sorry about that.

By the way, I know I’m getting a lot of new readers lately, so if that’s you and you’re not familiar with my work, please check out my parent site. /commercial message

Several new events on the calendar

I’ve fully updated the events page. I’ve got 2 gigs in June, 1 in July, 1 in October. I’ll update again when I have May firmed up.

Blogwhores R Us

Lovely news! Amanda at Pandagon let me know that I will be featured in next week’s Blogwhore Bonanza. Look for my piece entitled “Nerd Art” on February 20th.

Finally!

Finally have my sites restored to the new hard drive, so I can start updating. The Events page now lists the Conference in Brazil (and not much else, but it’s early yet; the bookings will pick up in February or March) and I tidied up the home page on my main site.

Now I have to get work on the James Bond site.

Guess What?

I figured out I can put a more link in posts, so as to decrease the length of posts on the front page.

This may not thrill you, but it certainly twisted my stilts.
